Q: What is graphite PTFE packing used for?

Graphite PTFE packing seals pumps, valves, and flanges in high-temperature and chemically aggressive service. Typical operating limits are 260–280 °C in air, 300 °C in steam, up to 25 MPa in valve applications, with pH 0–14 chemical resistance. It is specified where standard PTFE packing would extrude or degrade under thermal load.

Common media include steam, hot oils, solvents, and acidic or alkaline process fluids.

Q: What materials are available?

Kaxite supplies graphite PTFE packing, graphite packing, PTFE packing, carbon fiber packing, and aramid fiber packing. Each can be supplied as braided packing, die-formed rings, or jacketed packing, with graphite, PTFE dispersion, or silicone impregnation to match specific temperature, pressure, and chemical conditions.

Custom cross-section sizes and packaging are available from 100 kg.

Q: What is your typical lead time?

Standard lead time for bulk graphite PTFE packing orders is 10–20 days after order confirmation. In-stock specifications can ship same-day. For urgent shutdown or maintenance windows, expedited production can be arranged with prior notice.

Shipping terms are FOB Ningbo, CIF, or EXW depending on buyer preference.

Q: Do you provide material test reports?

Yes. Every shipment includes a material test report (MTR) and EN 10204 3.1 certificate covering material composition, density, tensile strength, and impregnation content. Full batch-level traceability is maintained from incoming raw material to finished packing.
